Shri M K Surana
Shri M.K. Surana is a Mechanical engineer with a Master Degree in Financial Management. He was appointed as Chairman of Prize Petroleum (a wholly owned subsidiary and upstream arm of HPCL) in April 2016. Shri Surana has joined HPCL, a Government of India Enterprise in 1982 and took over as Chairman & Managing Director of HPCL in April 2016. Prior to his appointment as C&MD of HPCL, he has worked as CEO-Prize Petroleum. Prior to that he has held key assignments at Mumbai Refinery, Vizag Refinery and Corporate Functions of HPCL including GM Operations and GM Projects at HPCL Refineries. He was a Core Team Member for Corporate vide ERP implementation in HPCL which now forms the backbone of all business transactions at HPCL. In a career spanning over 33 years in Petroleum Industry, Shri Surana has been closely involved in Strategy Formulation, Business Process Engineering, Major Projects Implementation, Refinery Operations, Corporate wide ERP Implementation, Acquisition and Management of up stream assets etc.
Shri P K Joshi
Shri Pushp Kumar Joshi is a Bachelor of Law and Post Graduate in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He was appointed as Director of the Company with effect from 1st July, 2012. Shri Joshi joined Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., a Govt. of India Enterprise in 1986. He took charge as Director (Human Resources) of HPCL with effect from 1st August, 2012. He has held various key positions in Human Resources and Industrial Relations functions at HQO, Marketing and Refineries Divisions of HPCL. He has been responsible for the design and deployment of key HR policies and practices that are employee oriented and aim at building high performance culture. He spearheaded various HR practices with strong business focus in HPCL Project Akshay–he leadership development program, Productivity Improvement Initiatives, leveraged the ITPI at form for Internal Customer care, various Technical & Behavioral training programs, HR-Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Implementation of JDE (HR), Health Management System, HR Green Credit etc.
Shri Vinod S Shenoy
Shri Vinod S Shenoy is a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay. He was appointed as Director of the Company with effect from 9th November, 2016. Shri Shenoy started his career with HPCL in June 1985. He took charge as Director - Refineries effective November 01, 2016. Prior to this he was the General Manager - Refineries Coordination of HPCL. During his career spanning over 31 years, Shri Shenoy has held various positions in the Refinery Divisions and Corporate Departments of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and has wide exposure to the Petroleum Industry.
Shri R. Kesavan
Shri R. Kesavan is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He was appointed as Director of the Company with effect from 27th September, 2019.
Shri R. Kesavan (DIN 08202118) took charge as Director-Finance of HPCL effective 5th September, 2019. Prior to his taking over as Director- Finance of HPCL, he was Executive Director Corporate Finance of HPCL.
Shri R. Kesavan brings rich experience of over three decades in handling various areas on Finance covering Corporate Accounts, Audit, Treasury Management, Risk Management, Budgeting, Pricing, Corporate Strategy & Margin Management, Heads of Commercial in various Marketing SBUs of HPCL. He has various academic distinctions to his credit and is a key technical speaker in in-house Capability Building seminars and workshops. He has contributed articles of corporate interest in various publications.
Smt. Rama Gummalla
Smt. Rama Gummalla (DIN 09036733) is a Mechanical Engineering with a PG Diploma in Business Administration specializing in Operations Management. She was appointed as Director of the Company with effect from 22nd January, 2021.
She has 29 years of experience in Oil & Gas sector and presently working as Chief General Manager – Materials in HPCL, Visakh Refinery, heading Project and Refinery Materials Department. She was instrumental in awarding of several critical contracts for Visakh Refinery expansion project. During her career, she successfully handled several major projects at Mumbai & Visakh Refineries right from feasibility study to construction and commissioning phases. She has exposure in handling stakeholders and multidisciplinary cross functional areas.
She also has experience in several areas which includes Supply Chain Management, Business Process Improvements, International Crude Trading, Maintenance Management, etc.
