Shri S. Bharathan
Shri S. Bharathan was appointed as Director (DIN 09561481) of the Company with effect from October 13, 2022. He was appointed Chairman of the PPCL Board on 28th October,2022.
Shri S. Bharathan is Director – Refineries of the HPCL effective 1st October, 2022. Prior to this, he was an Executive Director – Refineries Coordination of the Company with Additional Charge of R&D.
Mr. Bharathan has wide exposure to the Refinery operations of the Company and has worked in Operations and Technical Departments of Mumbai and Visakh Refinery for over 25 years. He has also worked in the Corporate Office on Margin Management & Refinery Project Process for over 4 years. Further, he is also leading HPCL’s Green R&D Centre in Bengaluru for the last 3 years. Under him, HPCL Green Research & Development Centre (HPGRDC) has reached filing of about 380 patents.
Shri Rajneesh Narang
Mr. Rajneesh Narang was appointed as Director (DIN 08188549) of the Company with effect from July 1, 2021.
Mr. Rajneesh Narang has assumed the charge of Director (Finance) of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., a Maharatna Oil Company effective March 22, 2022. Prior to this, Mr. Rajneesh Narang was an Executive Director – Corporate Finance & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Company. He has also held various key portfolios including that of Executive Director – Finance (Marketing), Executive Assistant to Chairman & Managing Director – HPCL among other assignments. He is on Board of several HPCL Subsidiary/Joint Venture Companies.
A Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a degree in Masters in Financial Management, Mr. Narang brings with him rich and varied professional exposure of more than 3 decades across various spectrum of Downstream Oil Company. He has held various key challenging assignments in HPCL in the field of Corporate Finance, Treasury, Risk Management, Margin Management, Marketing Finance, Budgeting, SBU Commercial, C&MD’s Office and Refinery Project.
Mr. Rajneesh Narang is known for his Commercial acumen, innovative ideas and people-centric leadership. In his various roles, he has focussed on investment in Human capital for building successful teams and individuals and able to perform and deliver exceptional results through positive engagement and a shared vision. He has various academic distinctions to his credit and is a key technical speaker in In-house capability building seminars and workshops.
Shri Vipul Kumar Maheshwari
Shri Vipul Kumar Maheshwari was appointed as Director (DIN 09580999) of the Company with effect from May 9, 2022.
Shri Vipul Kumar Maheshwari is the Executive Director – Integrated Margin Management (IMM) Department in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited effective April 2021.
A bachelor in chemical engineering from HBTU Kanpur, Shri Maheshwari started his career with HPCL in October 1989. During his career spanning over 30 years, Shri Maheshwari has held various positions in the Refinery and Corporate offices. His experience covers refinery operations and technical, commissioning of major units, International trade, Refinery planning and Supply Chain Optimization. Over the past 4 years, Shri Maheshwari has helmed the Integrated Margin Department which is entrusted to plan, enhance and deliver superior margins through end to end planning and monitoring across refinery and marketing infrastructure. He also heads the Idea Management Initiative – responsible for fostering Ideation culture and accelerated implementation of ideas in HPCL.
Smt. Rama Gummalla
Smt. Rama Gummalla (DIN 09036733) is a Mechanical Engineering with a PG Diploma in Business Administration specializing in Operations Management. She was appointed as Director of the Company with effect from 22nd January, 2021.
She has 29 years of experience in Oil & Gas sector and presently working as Chief General Manager – Materials in HPCL, Visakh Refinery, heading Project and Refinery Materials Department. She was instrumental in awarding of several critical contracts for Visakh Refinery expansion project. During her career, she successfully handled several major projects at Mumbai & Visakh Refineries right from feasibility study to construction and commissioning phases. She has exposure in handling stakeholders and multidisciplinary cross functional areas.
She also has experience in several areas which includes Supply Chain Management, Business Process Improvements, International Crude Trading, Maintenance Management, etc.
